The suite

A private room in a shared building

Suite 14 is on the second floor of Carothers Suites, off Carothers Parkway in Franklin.

The building rents private rooms to independent artists, so the hallway has other doors and other people at work. Mine is the one marked 14. Inside, the room holds one lash bed, a counter and a chair for waiting, and the door closes while we work.

The suite building's bright hallway, with three open doors onto neighboring private rooms, each with a chair and a basin

What the suite model means

What renting a suite changes for you

  • Who you pay and who you call

You book with me and you pay me. The building has no front desk and can't see my calendar, so questions about your visit come to me.

  • Whose rules

The policies on this site are mine, not the building's. The building sets the hallway and the parking; I set the visit.

  • Who else is there

Other artists work on this floor, with their own clients and their own hours. Their doors close when they work. Yours does too.

  • If I'm running behind

I text you. A visit can start late if the one before it did, and the policies say what happens when it's you.

  • If I'm out

I post a closed day on the booking page ahead of time and move your visit myself. No one else in the building can.

About the suite

Where do I park?

In the lot behind the building. Visitor spaces are marked. If the lot is full, text me and I'll tell you where to try next.

Can I bring a guest?

Please come alone. The room is small and the work needs you still. A friend can wait in the hallway, where there's a bench by the stairs.

Is the suite step-free?

The building has an elevator and the suite door has no step. If you need something else to make a visit work, tell me when you book.

What if I can't find it?

Text me. I'll walk you in by phone.
